Angelina Jolie is reportedly convinced Brad Pitt is behind her snub from the Academy Awards, with sources claiming she is accusing her ex-husband and Jennifer Aniston of plotting against her.

Jolie was with the Troy actor from 2006-2016, as they went on to get married in 2014 and started a large family together, but things ended in disaster following claims of an abusive incident aboard a flight that year.

The 49-year-old claims her ex-husband physically and verbally abused the family on the plane, with the news coming out as part of a winery dispute shortly after they were declared legally single in 2019.

Since then, they feud has raged on and seems to only be turning more and more bitter with their children becoming increasingly involved as they disavow their father and drop his surname from their names.

Now after being overlooked by the Oscars for her role in Maria, Jolie is convinced this is the workings of her ex according to sources speaking to RadarOnline.com, who believe she thinks he’s isolating her from the industry.

“There was a ton of buzz about how her performance in Maria was a career-defining role,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “And she was fully expecting to win the Oscar.

“The fact that she didn’t even get nominated is unbelievable to her. She believed this would be the role that would return her to the top of the Hollywood heap.

“She’s sure that being totally passed over is Brad’s work. Angie feels that Brad purposely tried to make her look like the bad guy in their breakup, and she’s convinced his smear campaign worked.”

How is Jennifer Aniston involved?
Aniston’s involvement in the plot is thought to date back all the way to 2005 when her marriage to Pitt ended, with claims being that Jolie had an affair with the actor and that was why they broke up.

Following this, the Friends actress is said to have kept a grudge against Jolie and now is finally getting revenge by “bad-mouthing” the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider actress to fellow peers and colleagues.

“It’s been 20 years since Angelina stole Brad from Jen, but she still hasn’t forgiven her,” the insider went on. “And there are plenty of powerful people in the industry who are on her side.

“This, she said, was supported by Jen and her showbiz allies who have bad-mouthed Angle all over town, ruining her reputation and possibly even her career.”
