The TV icon unveiled her silver-tinged hair during a casual outing in Los Angeles, marking her first visit to the United States since she relocated to the UK. She was photographed taking a casual stroll through the streets of Montecito months after she and De Rossi sold off several properties they owned in the area.

Dressed in casual blue jeans, a dark grey sweater, stylish shades and white sneakers, DeGeneres looked effortlessly cool as she rocked her natural hair color with pride. The new look marked a dramatic departure from her trademark platinum blonde pixie cut, her go-to style for years.

However, this visit doesn’t mean she is moving back to LA. The comedian announced her retirement last July during a comedy show, saying:

“This is the last time you’re going to see me…After my Netflix special, I’m done.”

The couple have also already made new celebrity friends in the area. They were spotted at The Farmer’s Dog, a pub owned by former “Top Gear” host Jeremy Clarkson in the Cotswolds. DeGeneres and De Rossi reportedly had a great time with other celebrities at the pub one night.

“They hung out with (Clarkson’s partner, actress) Lisa Hogan and James Blunt, and The Corrs performed at the pub,” a source shared.

Explaining the shocking move, a source revealed:

“Ellen was in England house hunting in the beginning of October. She ended up finding a house that she loved and purchased it shortly after.”

Although DeGeneres has moved away from Hollywood’s bright lights and allure since announcing her retirement and relocating, her new home is still as lush as her LA home. It also allows her to live out her retirement days, meeting and spending time with new friends. Hopefully, she and De Rossi will enjoy calling England their new home for many years to come.
