Keith Urban Tries to Professionally Thank His Fans at the California Mid-State Fair—But His Daughter Has Other Plans. Proof That No Matter How Famous You Are, Kids Will Always Be Kids!

Here Keith Urban is, trying to be professional and thanking his fans for coming out to the California Mid-State Fair, and his daughter is making a mockery of it. Apparently, kids are kids regardless of whether they have famous parents or not.
The singer posted an adorable, albeit hilarious video on Facebook on July 26 (technically 27, according to the late-night time stamp) after his show at the fair, thanking fans for singing loudly and coming from locations far and wide to see him, but unfortunately, no one who watches this video will pay attention to him.
A young girl — presumably one of his two daughters — is in the back seat of the car Urban is riding in, waving and making silly faces and using a stuffed animal to perform for the camera. Whether Urban notices or not is unclear. He seems unfazed, but as all parents know, even if you do notice, sometimes it’s just best to tune it out.

Fans will love the glimpse into a genuine moment in Urban’s life balancing parenthood and a demanding career, reminding us that stars really are just like us. He and wife Nicole Kidman have two daughters together, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
The fair appearance is part of Urban’s tour around festivals and county fairs this summer, and he’ll be performing at VetsAid in September alongside Joe Walsh, Zac Brown, and Gary Clark Jr. He’s currently in the studio beginning work on a new record that will serve as a follow-up to his highly successful album, Ripcord. It has earned platinum status from the RIAA and hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, as well as No. 5 on the Billboard 200, which is an all-genre chart. He recently came in at No. 9 on Forbes’ list of top-paid country stars.

ZBB earned $25 million last year, mostly through touring, but also through album and song sales. The road warriors do need to split that up more ways than most artists, however.
