On September 22, 2017,  the Grand Ole Opry was packed with surprises as an already star-studded lineup, featuring Reba McEntire and Vince Gill, took the stage. Fans were in for an even bigger treat when country  music legends Dolly Parton and Carrie Underwood made unexpected appearances to celebrate Reba’s 40th anniversary since her Opry debut.

The night reached an unforgettable peak during the second sold-out show when Reba began singing her classic hit, “Does He Love You.” The audience erupted in excitement as Carrie Underwood stepped onto the stage, joining Reba for a breathtaking duet that left everyone in awe.

Their stunning performance was a visual and vocal masterpiece. Underwood looked radiant in a pale pink dress, while McEntire rocked a sparkling black suit—two distinct styles that complemented each other as flawlessly as their voices.

Originally released in 1993 and written by Sandy Knox and Billy Stritch, “Does He Love You” tells the emotional story of two women entangled in a love triangle, questioning where a man’s heart truly lies. McEntire first recorded the song as a duet with Linda Davis, later performing it with Dolly Parton.
