The latest episode of The View saw co-hosts Sara Haines and Ana Navarro get in a brutal clash as they prepare for Senator Chuck Schumer’s visit to the show tomorrow.

The upcoming visit caused tensions on the panel to sky-rocket after Schumer’s recent controversy surrounding his decision to vote against a government shutdown that would block Republican funding.

As the hosts were discussing, Haines defended his choice, claiming that a shutdown would’ve given more power to Elon Musk led DOGE and the Trump administration. “I actually agree. A government shutdown never looks good. This was the only option,” she said.

Navarro was quick to cut in, saying: “Let me tell you, I don’t buy that explanation from you or from Schumer. [Musk and Trump] are already doing that illegally despite what the court is telling them.”

“Do you care? Do you have a leg to stand on in the court to say this is not constitutional?” Haines quickly defended.

Fans reacted to the heated blow-out, as one posted to Musk owned X: “Oooh, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Ana & Sara go at it like that!”

“Sara, Trump and Elon are already doing wtf they want,” another wrote, backing Navarro.

A third chimed in: “Ana cooked Sara on the Chuck Schumer topic.”

“The way Anna just told Sara to try Jesus not me with that explanation. I was here for it all,” another joked.

A fifth viewer noted: “I must say.. #Sara is mighty quiet after being held accountable for her “willful ignorance” POV.. Thank You #AuntyAna .. That’s what these folks need.. They need to be made uncomfortable.. because her answer told us all we needed to know, who the problem are..”
